Long Island Radio Broadcasting/LI Digital is seeking a proven Director of Sales to lead our
advertising sales team. Based in the Hamptons / Eastern Long Island market, this role involves
driving revenue growth through radio and digital advertising solutions, managing client
relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. Additionally, Director is required to sell,
service and bill accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals.
• Recruit, train, and develop Account Managers in person
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local businesses.
• Collaborate with programming and digital teams to create compelling advertising packages.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with Long Island business leaders and community partners.
• Forecast revenue, manage inventory, and maintain strategic rate integrity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in radio sales. Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of Long Island’s business landscape is a must.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Job Summary:
Long Island Radio Broadcasting, home of WEHM/WBAZ/WBEA, is seeking a
motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this
role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales process, cold calling,
managing client accounts, and contributing to business development initiatives.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in digital sales
and account management.

Duties:

• Aggressively hunt and prospect for local and regional business opportunities with relentless focus on new account acquisition
• Pursue new business leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals,
• Collaborate with senior account executives to develop sales strategies and proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Prepare reports on sales activities and client feedback to help refinestrategies and improve service offerings.
• Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business acquisition goals whilemaintaining existing account growth.

Requirements

• Experience in radio sales is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
